Her White Pink Champagne Cotume

        I like to post Sahara with the "White and Pink Champagne Cotume" so much. It looks so elegant on her. Everywhere she moves, it's like a magic. I wish I cloud finish the dolls from the final fire and then start painting today! 

       I know, I know. I keep my friends here waiting for so long. But it's worth to see and play with her/them when everythings are done. Thank you for watching to day!

More Sahara's Closed Up

   

          Here’s the further update more about Sahara’s jewelry and costume. Recently, I’m so busy with the new line doll, affinity line, that it takes so much time for me to do more things about Sahara. As I have planned, they should be done within the end of February. Now things are postponed like some unexpected causes; for example, the in corrected skin tone. It’s waste my time to redo a total new 5 Saharas in casting,plishing,firing and tec,..again. 

 

         This the closed up embroidery work on her dress. Actually, the lower part of the long gown is done…Still I found it’s not satisfied me enough. So, I’m now fixing and working on it, trying to make it look match with the upper part. It's not really a difficult task, but it takes so time to make them compatible to each part.

Sahara in Pink and White, The Final of Re-production

         As I always said to myself, I would not bring back the mold face to re-use again, but it's not for Sahara. Sahara is a very versatile mold face for Noi Black and Noi White as she's got different looks from different make ups. Her sweet pure and young innocent look never cause me the boredom to look at and play with her. So, I decided to bring her back to do a re-production of the white-pink diamonds wedding dress. Then, this project of Sahara's production will be done. Please be announced that there will be just 5 Saharas for this last production , "NO" more in the future.  This is the rough sketch for her jewelery, head piece, earnings and luxurious necklace.

         I've go to say that I'm so busy with the heavy works like Affinity line, which is coming to be done in 2 weeks for the prototype, making Sahara's costumes, mold making and polishing processes for the last Saharas. I planned that Sahara for the final reproduction should be finished within February. But I couldn't do it as I didn't want to be too hurried to ruin my works. So, better slow but beautiful :-O The picture down below is her accessories come into the wax prototype. Luckily, they are almost finished for the jewelery processes. I'm so excited!

         
         My eyes feel weak at the day time.,but they enthusiastically open at night. Maybe the weather is cooler and it's quiet with not much busy sounds. I work and keep thinking about my future projects silently. For the next blog, I will share the dress for Sahara, outer pink jacket with embroidery works and white gown as well. I wish we can imagine how she will look!

A New Line, "Immortal Affinity"

         
        It has been almost 2 years  that I released dolls for sale as a "Theme Dolls" with the limited edition number of 3-5 dolls. This is a niche market, but that's good to know when people wrote in and asked how possible to buy dolls, or even a nude doll. According to the policy, nude doll, which is 13.4 inches size, is not available for sale. I planned and made each theme particularly for months such as a very brand new face sclupt as well as painting, special costumes and jewellery design. So, this is why I could not sell them in nude. For some reasons, I started to think about selling a nude doll by customers' demanding. So why shouldn't I try? This is not the 2nd generation of the Immortal Classique doll, but it's a new line in a total different size. Generally, the Immortal Classique female dolls are 13.4 inches tall, but this one is 15.5-16 inches.
To conclude:
a.) The Immortal Classique Line: is porcelain costumed doll with 13.4 inches tall, NOT selling in nude, comes with a complete costume set. Limited Edition of 3-5 dolls, or just an OOAK. 
b.) The Immortal Affinity Line: is porcelain nude/lingerie doll with 15.5-16 inches tall. Non-limited in numbers and orders.
         Sorry that I don't have pictures working processes. Actually, the doll is now on working processes, but I didn't take her much pictures as I just started doing it. I hope the picture design of her new body would help us figure out how she looks like when she's done.

         About the Form and functions. There are 2 main points that I'd like to talk about here. First, I'll need to develop a special double jointed thighs which enables the doll to sit  pose firmly,and looks more naturally. About this double thighs jointed, I firstly saw it from Amal, Heartstrung about 2-3 years ago and I really believed that Amal was the first who invented these thighs joint, newest invention although  she said it's inspired by the Batchix dolls. I wrote and asked her for the allowance to use them and she permitted me to do this into my own style. I should acknowledge her here because of her generosity. Thank you very much to Amal, Heartstrung here. Also,I decided to cut the torso into 3  parts as I need my doll to be able to be physically attractive and more articulated like a professional model.This can be a experimental stage for my doll making creation, everyday that I'm working is a surprise gift from God. I love to find and learn new things. It should be a month or 2 to finish this girl. From her sclupt now, she makes me get so satisfied enough!

         Finally, these are the works that I have sculpted since 2007. Sorry that I didn't put them in a well time order. I particularly love to sclupt doll with opened mouth. Things keep developed so slowly. I hope you will love to see them,..from the past until now...

A Space Girl: "Andro851"

         In a few hours, a New Year of 2013 will come to us and all people around the world will have a good time to celebrate the New Year festival with family, friends, pets, and dolls! For me, I'm sitting in front of the cpu silently, sending emails to friends and customers. There are lots of things for me to do in the morning all day long. Actually, I am quite busy for the New Year's and I have no much time to hang out like before. However, a good thing is I feel so happy every time I see my finished work, a space girl, that is being inspired by some Si-Fi movies like the 5th Element and so on. I finally got her right name as "Andro851".  The name is from : Andromeda + 851. This is my lucky number as I found my university student code ended up with -851, my cell phone number, my home address, my ID card, and license plate that I can't believe that these number will show some unexpectedly related to my life! Do you think so? Eieie Sorry to waste our time. So, let's look at her now!

         The day that I started taking her pictures, I quite really had no exact plan to make a prop for her. I only had some white crystals , a blue backdrop, and sea sands. I imagined that she would walk alone in the dark place, like a desert that there was no living creatures. I finally found that's boring as the pictures had no story to tell. I started to find more easy-to-find- props like some broken electronic pieces, a glass, a flash light, putting them together and tried to imagine that this could be a kind of capsule of a spaceship for the red girl. She came to our planet for some reasons...that's how the story begins...

        

         The more I took hundred of pictures, I got more ideas of what to do. I figured out that I have another 3 nude dolls left so why shouldn't I take some of them as a prop,too. It worked so well when I started cruising more props and I found a useless plastic box that it was finally used as another capsule for a disembodied robot. I only applied some pieces and the story seemed to be coneected from one event to another. That's how surprised that I found the girl with red hair opened the capsule, finding a robot that exactly looked like her. When she checked at that robot, she found out that the robot still had memories and it told her pictures in the past...

         

         From her sad look, blanked eyes, the pictures from her memory trying to convey the meaning that she was an android that being sent to the Earth for some reasons. She dressed up beautifully. But there were some agendas that she couldn't complete. So she was torn apart and kept up in a capsule forever. Her lower part had gone, still she had a few beautiful memories. 

         

         "Why the sky is blue?"..."Why did these crystals appear here?"...."How much oxygen left in the area?"...there were some questions that being asked but she just failed her mission. Andro851 just realized that she was sent here with the same reason. She always thought that she was a usual human like us, but she finally found the truth...she's not one of us at all. She's just a kind of tool that was sent to the earth...Andro851 started to think that what should she do...? Should she run away..but how???

         Who knows how the story ends? It could be just a beginning for Andro851's story. For me,I have a very big plan for her at the end of next year. Still it's a secret now. I started to get obsessed with photo taking of a story plot. One of my best friend said "I like the storytelling and hints of narrative you get in the video. The music is very menacing and perhaps a bit overpowering, but it does add a sense of urgency and fear to the video." I really like her comment so much as I needed to express the hue environment, unexplained things. I hope the video ( you can click here) wouldn't be too scary!!!

More About the Space Girl...

         As I promised to show more updates about my space girl project by the end of this year, so many of us probably have already seen some pictures of her wearing in red through the Immortal Classique face book page.  First of all, I’d like to say “Thank You” very much again, deeply saying gratitude from my heart, for some of our new friends who “Like” my page. This is a nice reward for me as I’ve seen the numbers coming up and received so many encouragements:-) Sometimes, I didn’t do much update about my works. But when I started doing my new project, many of us still showing comments and concerns for my works as well as my health. I really appreciate these so much!!! I know my works went so slowly and it seems sometimes there were some people “Unlike” my page for some reasons. That’s ok as I know what I should improve, and I promise I will do my “best” for the work I really love. As long as the world keeps spinning and If I could live a thousand years like a Vampire, I’d never stop doing dolls! Oh it seemed I was babbling too much. So,..here’s the picture for the nude doll with her red wig.

         Many of us said the opened mouth girl looked like a girl for the movie, The 5^th Element. Truly, my inspiration to make the Space Girl was from a metallic dress by Dolce & Gabbana 2010, and some movies like Resident Evil, Cloud Atlas, and such. I found out that a nice model, actually an inspiration, for my face sculpt with the opened mouth is Milla Jovovich. I think she’s got perfect lips, nice eyes colors, and good figure. She looks very modern and strong, and sometimes a super model, too. so this why I like Milla so much. Let’s look closer to the doll. Even though she didn’t look like Milla much, I’m truly happy for the overall result for this girl.

         I felt amazed to myself that I could gradually find more style of my own. Do you guys think so? The sculpt keeps changing, like a young girl changes to a mature woman with high cheek bones, closed eyes, still looks pure and clean. I’m still found of a light make up, natural look and bright, not vivid colors. I really hope that I will find my own self doll making one day so soon.

         Lastly, I’d like to share the costume that is off-white chiffon with some beadings. I always find the embroidery works are really fascinated! Sorry that I didn’t show the metallic dress, but all of us already seen it from the previous blog and some from the facebook. This is a gown that is dressed inside the main piece, the metallic dress. We will all items put together in a few days.

More About the Outer Space Girl

         I just got some crystals set for photo shooting several days ago. They look so clear and shiny as the light reflected on them. I carefully checked and investigated each of it and planned to use them wisely for the doll diorama scene.  As this doll theme is something so imaginative, like space and unreachable place outside our planet, so I think these crystals are useful when I set up a hot and humid white desert as a very far far away place without living creatures. I will put them on the white sand and set them with the horizon in the distance. I might need a blue sky with some pictures of the Uranus and the Moon…It could be so fun and fantasy…

                        (Can this be a source of an energy or something?X)

         I really like these crystals…some are huge and beautiful. When they are put together, I can see something beautiful. I think I made the right decision to choose them as a part for the decoration of scene rather than another shooting in a castle corridor again. Yes, I love trying something new!

          So now lets’ see the update about her costumes. (She doesn’t have a name yet…poor her) The helmet is almost done. What I need are some small decorations on her forehead…and a set of nice earrings. Umm females like earrings, don’t they? So does this girl, too.

       (She could be a White Witch, a predator from somewhere else, or a knight. But for me, she is a lonely Princess from...)

         Lastly, her final costume is almost done. What I need to do is to check the over all composition of her costumes and character. I wish to represent her pure, gentle, beauty, and enigma by her overall look, too. Her costumes consist of 2 main parts, the metallic short dress and inner long chiffon gown with the heavy beading and embroidery works. Umm, maybe I’ll need a long blooded red hair for her! I wish there should be no longer time that this girl will come to let us see her true beauty!
