More About the Outer Space Girl

I just got some crystals set for photo shooting several days ago. They look so clear and shiny as the light reflected on them. I carefully checked and investigated each of it and planned to use them wisely for the doll diorama scene.  As this doll theme is something so imaginative, like space and unreachable place outside our planet, so I think these crystals are useful when I set up a hot and humid white desert as a very far far away place without living creatures. I will put them on the white sand and set them with the horizon in the distance. I might need a blue sky with some pictures of the Uranus and the Moon…It could be so fun and fantasy…
(Can this be a source of an energy or something?X)
I really like these crystals…some are huge and beautiful. When they are put together, I can see something beautiful. I think I made the right decision to choose them as a part for the decoration of scene rather than another shooting in a castle corridor again. Yes, I love trying something new!
                           ( I think I may need more...)
So now lets’ see the update about her costumes. (She doesn’t have a name yet…poor her) The helmet is almost done. What I need are some small decorations on her forehead…and a set of nice earrings. Umm females like earrings, don’t they? So does this girl, too.
(She could be a White Witch, a predator from somewhere else, or a knight. But for me, she is a lonely Princess from...)
-->
Lastly, her final costume is almost done. What I need to do is to check the over all composition of her costumes and character. I wish to represent her pure, gentle, beauty, and enigma by her overall look, too. Her costumes consist of 2 main parts, the metallic short dress and inner long chiffon gown with the heavy beading and embroidery works. Umm, maybe I’ll need a long blooded red hair for her! I wish there should be no longer time that this girl will come to let us see her true beauty!
Thank you very much for visiting/Nune:-)

Outer Space...

...The male dolls are done and quite ready to ship in a day. So I think it's time to reveal the next girl after the Lord Phaedron Danne. She's the girl number 7th (after The Queen Victoria). I got some inspiration from the metallic dress by a fashion couture about the "Outer Space". So this is how she comes into this way...I haven't had any names for her yet, but I think many of us have already seen her face sclupt through my FB. Here, I would like to share her costume.

An Overall Design
This is how the metallic dress looks like in wax...she needs a metallic helmet and big earrings,too:-)
in wax process...
Let's look closer...I cannot wait to see it's done in metallic dress! Sometimes I cannot deny the shiny stuffs as well.

She needs a sweet brassiere and panty:-)
This is the outer gown...it's the chiffon with the embroidery work. This is quie annoying as the beading works crawl on the white chiffon. It's quite difficult but it's coming to the right direction. It should be a very very long gown...

When this girl is done, we will probably see a new doll making style by my own. There are more to post about my last sclupts a couple years ago that I'd like to share. It could be a tale how I started making dolls. However, I think I should end this thread now as it's very late for tonight!
Thank You very much to all of my friends here. Have a good night/Nune

"Lord Phaedron Danne"

Finally, "Lord Phaedron Danne" inspired by Nene Tina Thomas is completely done! I really feel satisfied with the pictures showing here. They make me get so happy as the whole things turned out so beautifully like a dream comes true.

I have made many special things like props, especially the golden vintage chair in Gothic style for the Phaedron doll, special designed castle that I spent time for nearly 2 months to finish it by the reference I have sketched, lots and lots of details to add here and there...it seemed like I never stopped finding the perfect materials to make things to be "perfect" enough. Lots of painting by Nene Tina Thomas are very magnificent with the real eyes. I kept telling myself that I should keep the quality by her special paints. That's very difficult, but at least it came into this way.

Previously, I have faced with many circumstances. The male doll working project had been processed and re modified for months as I kept correcting the beauty and functions of the male doll so often. There were a lot of things that need to be changed and fixed. Luckily that my Master Chewin Malipunte helped me to guide some ideas and he made the costume pattern and male wigs for this male doll theme. Thank you so much to my Master Chewin here.

One thing I found a big problem is how to take a nice pictures set for this doll theme. As the scene is set in a Dark Castle, that's quite hard to control the light to take some pictures indoor. I felt so tired with thousands pictures I took during the 1-2 days as they whole composition was fine, but the pictures were not sharp enough. I didn't like it when I zoomed in closely to the doll face and the whole details were so blurry. It wastes my time, that's right, but I did really learnt a lot. A friend of mine, Idan Lightman B. A. gave me some suggestions that they finally worked! I also have to Thank You to him here:-)

Another hard thing was working/taking pictures with the reflected mirror. The first day didn't work properly as the mirrors from the diorama scene showed some reflection on the white subjects through the lens. I didn't want to waste my time with the photoshop so I just googled how to solve the problem. The resolution was to find the black cloth, I mean all sides of the diorama scene must be covered in black so I bought a long big black cloth and start doing that. I also had to wear black shirt and try to hide my hands not to be reflected by the mirrors. And it worked so well. However, the room seemed more darker and the natural light could not come in very well. Besides, it kept raining for whole days. No doubt that the sun didn't shine as it should be as the dark gray clouds were everywhere...I slowly worked bit by bit...patiently...

If we look to all the pictures, we will see some different lightnings. I wish I could control the lights (umm like in  a very professional studio's light ) but how could I as there were some limitations for the equipment. However, I'm glad that my visuals and some photo taking skills are ok:-) I wanted to show us how messy my house was. Um I'd rather not to do that as it's ugly. The black clothes were everywhere, a scissor, plastic tapes, pins, camera lens...sometimes I forgot where I put them...tools and tools were everywhere...

It's been 4 days that I kept taking pictures. I didn't go out, not really had plenty time to take a shower, or do another things. I liked to check the pictures with the big Mac screen. I was curious sometimes that the pictures in the camera looked so neat, but many looked poor in the CPU screen. This set could be the biggest pictures set I have been working with now.

Once when I could captive the light and composition, it became easier to work with our gorgeous model, Phaedron. It seemed that he looked so relaxed and ready to post more. Unlike me, I really love it as he never complained at all. I like this picture so much as he looked so fine:-)

And...,this could be a Vampire? On no...

It came to the last picture that I love the most. It looked like an old paint picture. I like the light, his action, and everything about it. I’d also have to Thank You for his patient working with me. That’s all done now. I really had a full sleep when everything had finished. I admitted that my nerve worked all the time during these 4 days for the photographing. How am I now? I should be a happy person like all of us here nowJ Do you agree?
We may get curious why I painted the doll look a bit sad…I have heard from Nene Tina Thomas about the character that I feel so sorry for his difficult time. Lord Phaedron is a smart young guy who has many challenges in his life, but he will have to stand and fight for it. I want to express a part of his life and I love to see his expressive feelings through his face and his eyes from my painting and sculpting. Finally, he is so handsome for me, that’s all.

Before I end this thread, for those who love Nene Tina Thomas’s paintings, and the Books written by Steven Plagman, Powerborn (Zarryiostrom), you guys would probably know what this picture means. I’d have to Thank You to Nene Tina Thomas here, and Steven Plagman for having me a beautiful chance to perform The Immortal Classique Male doll: Lord  Phaedron Dann. It’s my honor to work with them. Also I’d like to Thank You to all friends from my Facebook page for always liking, giving comments and opinions for my works.
Best Regards to you all,Nune.

It's Been Months...

Umm...I don't have much things to say for today:-)But I know some of us need to see some updates. And this is for today.I think it should not be too long to make the whole things done.

Days by days, night by nights...

Yes, days by days, nights by nights...rain was keep falling and there was no sunlight. Things moved so slowly while the time did run so fast. Today, there was a beautiful sunshine:-)

Sometimes I questioned myself what I was doing...

This project has been planned for months and now it's coming to the end. (It should be a good start for the male dolls,right?:-)

I laways make mistakes with the measurment ...poor me!
There is no perfection...but there should be something beautiful at least...Right, there is no absolute definition for Arts...

:-)

The Dark Castle for Lord Phaedron is almost finished. Things I need to do are: making some mosaic decoration at the windows, make long flags (red or blue...umm I must write to Nene Tina Thomas to ask) between the throne, and find more props. I'm telling myself: It's just a breath a way!!!

Good Night to everyone. Thank for visiting/Nune:-)

"Costumes and Weapons"

As I promised that I would update more about Phaedron’s costumes and weapons tonight, here they are!  I firstly need to talk about the costumes. The original paint of Lord Phaedron by Nene Tina Thomas shows that he wears a black vest, a white shirt with long sleeves, and long black pants. I asked her a permission to add more outer jacket with no sleeves, and Nene allowed me to do that. I got so happy to see the outcome. They worked very well together. To have the outer jacket, or don’t have, he looks very very smart on his outfits. I love to see him wearing the costumes with the black leather boots. The boots are made of the real leather and decorated with the silver rings for tiding the ropes. The silver rings from the boots show a perfect match with the silver thread on his black vest. I love this so much!
It looks very nice:-)

An outer jacket that made for him
I got so amazed when I put the props (weapons): the main gauche/dagger, the rapier, and the pistol on his and posted. He looks very handsome and smart. I’m sorry that I cannot be able to share us all here in a complete set as the Lord Phaedron dolls will be brought out from the final fire/kiln tomorrow morning. (I wish and hope for the success that there will not be any problems about them during the final firing process.) The scabbards for the main gauche and the rapier are perfectly fit on them. Still, they need to be wrapped with the cloth or leather for the final. The straps are also needed, too.  About the pistol, I found it’s quite small compared to the Phaedron’s hand. So I think I’ll need to oversize the holder and make it a little longer.
A perfect size that Phaedron can hold in his hand.

This is so beautiful indeed.

However,...

This one needs fixing!!! Oh No!
All of these weapons are made of the "Real Sliver” They are all quite heavy by their weight, but that’s good when you can polish them and keep them look so shiny or let them turn dark by your need. I LOVE these weapons so much!!! For me, it’s worth to have them. I wish I could share you some picture when the Phaedron doll holding them. But, please wait a bit more for the pictures as I haven’t painted any..oops sorry. Have a good night everyone. Thank You so much/Nune

The Dark Castle Diorama

I didn't realize that I went away for so long (about a month with no any updates for this blog) as the male doll-making project took a long time to finish. I re modified the male doll's body and functions for 2 times. So it means the male doll mold making have been made twice. Now the final dolls are on the casting process.  Umm...that's why I was so busy to update things here. I'm sorry about being away for too long. However, today, I brought out the diorama and some props for the Phaedron's doll. They are not done yet as there are lots of things to be decorated. So now let's see!
The doll size with the gothic windows

This is the first layer of the wall with the long gothic windows. The pillars need more decoration. I may have to paint them with the dark hue color so that they will fit the black marbel floor.
The front look from 1 out of 3
When I tried to put the 2nd layer of those windows together. Did you see something more beautiful? I love this so much:-)
I have an intention to put the mirror at the back of the windows. For the upper part, I'm not sure if I will try to decorate them with the colorful mosaic glasses to make them look more detailed. I think I will have to try with the cameara whether I can see the details from the pictures or not. If I cannot see it much, I will probably leave the windows without the mosaic glasses decoration. So it's an experiment that I should try.
So, for the next blog, we will see his props and his costumes. It's coming so closed, just a breath a way! Thank you for watching/Have a good night my friends here. Nune:-)

Lord Phaedron's Diorama

I put the male doll off for a few hours, and spending sometimes with the diorama for the Pahedron. It’s the Black castle that I intended to create. Now my visual becomes more real since I started doing it. Day by day, things go so slowly. But the results are always good enough to make me smile. So this is the sketch that I try to make it in the right size for the doll.
The Diorma Skecth
It’s a long corridor with the black marble floor. There are 3 large Gothic windows along the hall. (120cm x 90cm) I prepare some acrylic glass paint to make the some mosaic colors on windows. The window itself consists of 2 layers. And this is how it look roughly.
Woods are cut 2 layers so we can see the depth.
One of the 4 Gothic windows
Out side of the window, I prepare the other paper scene to give it more dimensions when I take some photographs. It’s a picture of the sea shore with clouds.
I need to print it out in a very huge scale:-0
Also, I need some tiny blossoms outside the windows, too. This is how I worked with it until it’s done.

I may need to make it more...

I know it’s a kind of late to update the blog. Things are very  carefully planned because I want to make everything best. Sorry that I didn’t post the pictures in color because I want everything to get done and we can see it all together. Thank You very much/Nune
